The Modi government has completed one year in office. This period has seen unparalleled attacks on minorities specially Muslims and Christians as well as Dalits. This article tries to explain that these attacks are in fact a ploy to divert people's (80 percent of whom are Hindus) attention from neo-liberal policies of this RSS/BJP government which is serving the interest of crony capitalism pauperizing common Indians. During this one year hundreds of farmers have committed suicide, jobs have become a luxury and social benefits have largely been withdrawn. The RSS/BJP rulers game plan is that in order to hide the anti-people economic policies communal fever should be heightened.
