ভারতের কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এবং হিন্দু মৌলবাদী দল বিজেপির নেতা রাজনাথ সিং বলেছেন, ভারত থেকে বাংলাদেশে গরু রপ্তানি পুরোপুরি বন্ধ করে দিতে হবে যাতে বাংলাদেশের মানুষ গরুর মাংস খাওয়া বন্ধ করে দিতে বাধ্য হয়।মঙ্গলবার তিনবিঘা করিডোর পরিদর্শন শেষে বিএসএফ জওয়ানদের উদ্দেশ্যে বক্তব্যে তিনি এ কথা বলেন বলে জানিয়েছে ভারতের রাষ্ট্রীয় বার্তা সংস্থা পিটিআই।
এর দুদিন আগেই রাজনাথ সিং বলেছিলেন, মহারাষ্ট্র ও হরিয়ানায় গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধের পথ ধরে পুরো ভারতেই গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধ করার চেষ্টা করছে ক্ষমতাসীন হিন্দু মৌলবাদী বিজেপি সরকার।
বাংলাদেশ-ভারত সীমান্তের প্রহরারত বিএসএফ জওয়ানদের উদ্দেশ্যে রাজনাথ বলেন, 'আমাকে বলা হয়েছে যে বিএসএফের কড়া নজরদারিতে গরু পাচার বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ার পর বাংলাদেশে সম্প্রতি গরুর মাংসের দাম ৩০ ভাগ বেড়ে গেছে।''আপনারা নজরদারি আরো বাড়িয়ে দিন যাতে গরু পাচার পুরোপুরি বন্ধ হয়ে যায় এবং বাংলাদেশে গরুর মাংসের দাম আরো ৭০-৮০ শতাংশ বেড়ে যায় যাতে বাংলাদেশের মানুষ গরুর মাংস খাওয়া ছেড়ে দেয়,' যোগ করেন রাজনাথ।ভারতের সরকারি হিসেবে ২০১৪ সালে ভারত থেকে বাংলাদেশে ১৭ লাখ গরু এসেছে।
রবিবার রাজনাথ সিং বলেছিলেন যে পুরো ভারতে গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধ করার জন্য ক্ষমতাসীন এনডিএ জোট 'যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা' চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে।'এদেশে গরু জবাই গ্রহণ করা যায় না। আমরা গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধ করার জন্য সর্বাত্মক প্রচেষ্টা চালাব এবং এজন্য ঐকমত্য প্রতিষ্ঠায় কঠোর চেষ্টা করে যাব,' বলেছিলেন রাজনাথ।২০০৩ সালে ভারতের কৃষিমন্ত্রী থাকার সময়ও তিনি একবার গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধ করার জন্য পার্লামেন্টে বিল এনেছিলেন। কিন্তু সেবার তার সে প্রচেষ্টা সফল হয়নি।
১২০ কোটি জনসংখ্যা অধ্যুষিত ভারতে প্রায় ১৮ কোটি মুসলমান বাস করেন। এদের বেশিরভাগই দরিদ্র এবং সস্তা গরুর মাংস তাদের আমিষের একটি অন্যতম উৎস।তবে তথাকথিত সেক্যুলার ভারতের বেশিরভাগ রাজ্যে গরু জবাইয়ের ওপর আইনি নিষেধাজ্ঞা না থাকলেও মুসলমানদের গরু জবাইয়ের ওপর কড়াকড়ি করা হয়। ভারতের অনেক রাজ্যেই গরুর মাংস বিক্রির ওপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা রয়েছে।
সম্প্রতি মহারাষ্ট্র ও হরিয়ানায় গরু জবাই নিষিদ্ধ করে নতুন যে আইন পাস হয়েছে তাতে আইন লংঘন করলে মৃত্যুদণ্ড পর্যন্ত হতে পারে।তবে মুসলমানদের পাশাপাশি খ্রিস্টান এবং নিম্নবর্ণের হিন্দুরাও গরুর মাংস খেয়ে থাকে।ঐতিহাসিকরা বলছেন, ভারতে গরুর মাংস নিষিদ্ধ করার দাবিটি আধুনিককালের। অনেক সংস্কৃত গ্রন্থেও বলা হয়েছে, প্রাচীন হিন্দুদের মধ্যে গরুর জবাই নিষিদ্ধের কোনো প্রচলন ছিল না।

लखनऊ, 01 अपै्रल 2015। रिहाई मंच ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा बाबरी मस्जिद
ढहाने के आरोपी लालकृष्ण आडवाणी, कल्याण सिंह, उमा भारती, मुरली मनोहर
जोशी, अशोक सिंहल समेत बीस लोगों को नोटिस जारी करने का स्वागत करते हुए
पूर्व में हुई सीबीआई जांच में आरोपियों को क्लीन चिट दिए जाने पर सवाल
उठाया है।
रिहाई मंच के अध्यक्ष मुहम्मद शुऐब ने कहा है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा
नोटिस जारी होने के बाद, यह सवाल एक बार फिर से पैदा होता है कि आखिर
किसके इशारे पर सीबीआई द्वारा बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस के इन गुनहगारों को
क्लीन चिट दी गई थी। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस तरीके से पिछले दिनों
सीबीसीआईडी ने हाशिमुपुरा जनसंहार मामले में गलत विवेचना कर दोषियों को
बचाया ठीक उसी भूमिका में बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस मामले में सीबीआई है। ऐसे
में देश में न्याय व्यवस्था के समक्ष जांच एजेंसियां ही चुनौती बन गई हैं
जों इंसाफ के खिलाफ और नाइंसाफी के पक्ष में सिर्फ विवेचना ही नहीं करती
बल्कि सबूतों को मिटाने का भी काम करती हैं।
रिहाई मंच के नेता राजीव यादव ने मोदी सरकार द्वारा बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस
के वक्त देश के प्रधानमंत्री रहे नरसिम्हा राव का स्मारक बनाने की कड़ी
आलोचना करते हुए कहा है कि एक ऐसा व्यक्ति, जो बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस को
गिराने के आपराधिक षड़यंत्र में सीधे संलिप्त रहा हो, उसका स्मारक बनाने
का सीधा मतलब देश के सेक्यूलर ढांचे पर एक हमला होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह
साबित करता है कि संघ सत्ता में आने के बाद, बाबरी विध्वंस के मामले में
राव द्वारा संघ के प्रति दिखाई गई वफादारी को पुरस्कृत करने के लिए मोदी
सरकार द्वारा स्मारक बनाया जा रहा है।
रिहाई मंच के नेता अनिल यादव ने कहा है कि प्रदेश में कई चरणों में हो
रही बेमौसम बारिश के बावजूद प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा किसानों को राहत के लिए
मुआबजा वितरण में आपराधिक हीला हवाली की जा रही है। इस हीलाहवाली के कारण
किसानों की आत्महत्या का सिलसिला लगातार जारी है। उन्होंने कहा कि बरेली
के भमोरा क्षेत्र के मिवक मझारा गांव के किसान शिशुपाल सिंह ने 15 साल
पहले खादी ग्रामोद्योग से 33 हजार रुपया लोन लिया था। इस अवधि में उसने
74 हजार रुपया ब्याज के तौर पर चुकाया, लेकिन मूलधन खत्म नहीं हो सका।
मामला प्रमुख सचिव तक पहंुचा लेकिन शिशुपाल को कोई राहत नहीं मिली। इस
बीच बारिश होने पर शिशुपाल ने जहर खा कर आत्महत्या कर ली। आत्महत्या के
पहले मृत किसान ने मुख्यमंत्री को चिट्ठी भी लिखी थी जिसमें जिला
ग्रामोद्योग अधिकारी को जिम्मेदार ठहराया गया था। अनिल यादव ने किसान की
आत्महत्या प्रकरण में मृत किसान के परिजनों को 20 लाख रुपए मुआवजा की
मांग करते हुए, बरेली के जिला ग्रामोद्योग अधिकारी को बर्खास्त करते हुए
सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

हाशिमपुरा में जो हुआ उसकीं जितनी निंदा की जाए कम है यह सिर्फ मानवी जिस्मों की हत्या नहीं है वरन उस मानवीय संवेदना और विशवास की हत्या है जो अपने समाज और अपनी हुकूमत से संरक्षण और न्याय की उम्मीद करती है | बिना किसी जाँच और सबूत के बेकसूर लोगों की सिर्फ इसलिए हत्या कर देना कि वे किसी दूसरे धर्म से आते है हमारे समाज की संकुचित सोच को दर्शाता है और साथ ही धार्मिक उन्माद को उकसाने में घी डालने का काम करता है | एक तरफ सरकारें कहती हैं कि वे धर्मनिरपेक्ष समाज की स्थापना चाहती हैं और वही दूसरी ओर उन्हीं निर्देशों पर हाशिमपुरा जैसे कांड होते है | बेहद विरोधाभाषी चीजें हैं जिससे साफ जाहिर है कि साम्प्रदायिक और जातीय राजनीति ही हमारी सरकारों का मुख्य मकसद हैं जनता के सरोकार उनके लिए कोई खाश मायने नहीं रखते |
इतने संवेदनशील और अमानवीय मामले में 28 साल तक न्यायिक प्रक्रिया का चलना और उसके बाद आये निर्णय में दोषियों का बिना किसी सजा के बच जाना, हमारे देश की लचर न्यायिक व्यवस्था को प्रदर्शित करता है और यह साबित करता है कि भारत देश तो आज़ाद हो गया है लेकिन भारत की जनता आज भी गुलाम है हाथों में हथकड़ियाँ भले न हो पर इन्साफ आज भी कैद में है |
PUCL कानपुर एक नागरिक समाज के नाते उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सरकार से पूरे मामले में फिर से अपील करने और दोषियों के खिलाफ न्यायिक कार्यवाही की मांग करती है | यदि इस ओर जल्द ध्यान न दिया गया तो हम आम जन मानस को सरकारी कार्य प्रणाली के खिलाफ जन आन्दोलन के लिए प्रेरित करेंगे |

To facilitate flow of EPFO funds into equity markets, Labour Ministry is proposing to start with investment of 1 per cent of its corpus into equity and related schemes and take it gradually to 5 per cent.
The investment pattern for the retirement fund body in this regard is likely to be notified soon by the Labour Ministry, a senior government official said today.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the budget proposed a new investment pattern under which the EPFO would invest a minimum of 5 per cent of its investable funds into equity and equity related schemes.
"We will notify the investment pattern soon. Over a period of time, it makes sense to invest in equity. Investment in a basket of portfolio is safe. All over the world, experience is that equity investment has given the highest returns, the Labour Ministry official said.
"What we are thinking is that we will start with 1 per cent and will go up to 5 per cent. We will review and gradually increase the investment limit," the official said.
The official was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting of Central Board Of Trustees (CBT), Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and Tripartite Consultation on Comprehensive Amendments to the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
Trade unions have opposed any move to invest EPFO fund in capital market, CITU president A K Padmanabhan said.
As per the mandate given by Finance Ministry, investment in equity and related instruments could be up to 15 per cent of total funds.
Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said based on today's views and apprehensions, the ministry will discuss with appropriate authorities to dispel the apprehensions expressed by stakeholders.
During the meeting, EPFO Central Provident Fund Commissioner K K Jalan said the central government can decide the pattern of investment of fund.
"Central government is 100 per cent competent as regards the investment guidelines of any provident fund in the country. The pattern of investment is to be determined by the government. We are not putting 100 per cent of the money in equity.
"At the first, 1 per cent and then review, then 2 per cent and review and try to reach 5 per cent. We are going very-very gradually. The feeling is that the economy will go better. So we can consider our investment in ETF (exchange traded funds) or economy," Jalan said.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the budget proposed a new investment pattern under which the EPFO would invest a minimum of 5 per cent of its investable funds into equity and equity related schemes.
"We will notify the investment pattern soon. Over a period of time, it makes sense to invest in equity. Investment in a basket of portfolio is safe. All over the world, experience is that equity investment has given the highest returns, the Labour Ministry official said.
"What we are thinking is that we will start with 1 per cent and will go up to 5 per cent. We will review and gradually increase the investment limit," the official said.
The official was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting of Central Board Of Trustees (CBT), Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and Tripartite Consultation on Comprehensive Amendments to the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
Trade unions have opposed any move to invest EPFO fund in capital market, CITU president A K Padmanabhan said.
As per the mandate given by Finance Ministry, investment in equity and related instruments could be up to 15 per cent of total funds.
Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said based on today's views and apprehensions, the ministry will discuss with appropriate authorities to dispel the apprehensions expressed by stakeholders.
During the meeting, EPFO Central Provident Fund Commissioner K K Jalan said the central government can decide the pattern of investment of fund.
"Central government is 100 per cent competent as regards the investment guidelines of any provident fund in the country. The pattern of investment is to be determined by the government. We are not putting 100 per cent of the money in equity.
"At the first, 1 per cent and then review, then 2 per cent and review and try to reach 5 per cent. We are going very-very gradually. The feeling is that the economy will go better. So we can consider our investment in ETF (exchange traded funds) or economy," Jalan said.

The new investment pattern takes effect from April 1.

The labour ministry has in the past notified its own investment pattern for EPFO, taking into account the views of its Central Board of Trustees (CBT) but not necessarily those of the finance ministry. For instance, the finance ministry had first proposed investment in equity ranging from 0-15% of the incremental income in 2008. However, CBT did not approve of this. Hence, the 2013 investment pattern that's being followed doesn't provide for any investment in equity .
However, following the recent notification by the finance ministry , Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya had referred the proposed investment pattern to the Finance Investment & Audit Committee, which at its meeting on March 26 concluded that "the government was competent to notify the pattern of investment and that pattern of investment was binding on EPFO".
At the 207th CBT meet on Tuesday , Central Provident Fund Commissioner KK Jalan told trustees that the Finance Investment & Audit Committee was of the view that EPFO may consider investing an initial 1% in exchange-traded funds, which replicate the index and aren't as volatile as individual stocks. "This may gradually be increased to 5% by the end of the year," he said, adding that the government was the competent authority to finalise the investment pattern as it gives several concessions to pension funds, including exemption from income tax.
The decision has been opposed by trade unions which are surprised by what they describe as an about-turn by the labour ministry and EPFO. "Investing employees' money in equities is not in the interest of workers and the country but only in the interest of markets. Hence, we are against the proposal," said AK Padmanabhan of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions.

My wife Sabita Biswas,aged 56 is travelling by 13049 Amitsar Express. Coach B-one,Berth number 48.She is in mourning as her elder brother died and she has to join her family in Bijnore.
I saw her leaving Howrah on 13:50 by the train.Since,I could not go,we opted for 3A ticket and it was only available as all trains remain full until May 2nd.
We could not manage a return ticket as she has to look for Tatkal on her return.
Amritasar Express has no Pantry Car and travellers have to starve as they are not getting even drinking water as hawkers are not allowed and IRTC has to do nothing with serving food to Amritsar Express.They could not manage even drinking water.
On stations you may not get anaything thanks to catering privatisation.It is being proved to be horrible expreince to feel good about your Bullet PPP model for general pubic.
My home State Uttarakhand is no more a part of the most powerful Uttarpradesh and is neglected by Indian government.
Potentially,the most beautiful Hill stations and most holy pilgrimage,Uttarakhand destinations have very selected connectivity in every means.Power equations have not to change just because of Uttarakhand in New delhi and hence,Uttrakhand people have not to get the Railway Booty which other states have.We have no direct train for Nainital from Mumbai while have only one weekly Lalkuan Express and a Horrible long distance slowest train Bagh Express from Howrah.
The trains going through Uttarakhand have nothing to offer.
Every train is super slow and almost none of them have any facility for travellers and those have to travel in Uttarakhand have to feel the Hell losing.
Even the Punjab bound trains have nothing,we could realise this time only.
Others may share their experience and we may publish them on Hatsakshep.
Railway Budget has been claimed to be focused on traveller`s security and better food and facilities.Yes,while you travel by Rajdhani or Durnta and some other VVIP trains bound to super Smart Metro cities, you have on to complain.
If a train bound to the holy city,Amritsar where the Golden Temple is situated,means hell losing,your claim to make religious journey seems to be business friendly Five Crore endorsement for Celebs as Aamir Khan paid,only which means just starving for general taxpayers.
I am just sharing this to highlight the resultant dreams exposed naked which have everything for Desi Videshi Capital inflow for Complete Privatization of Railway at the cost of Taxpayer Indian citizens.
I know,the PM ,the Railway Minister,Railway Board and Railway officials have nothing to do with public grievances.
I am sharing this horror for those who have to travel by Indian Railway to become Bullet literally as it means.
